This song was made possible by a gal I know. Well, I was trying to show her how easy it was to make stuff in garageband, so I put together a couple of things. Then, when she wasn't around, I went back and threw in a few more things. Soon enough, musical splendour.

This is a song I started but didn't finish, during a smoke break while recording the band Dutch Hey Wagon. It was done using garageband 11, or whatever the new one is.

I don't even remember what it sounds like right now.

Colossal Cave Adventure

Hi, friends. How are you? So I took home this midi keyboard and have been fooling around with it a bit. I had also been wanting to make a song with lines from the game Colossal Cave Adventure for a bit. So, put the two together and what have you got?

So, the last song didn't use any garageband loops. I've played with it before, actually. It's quite fun. You just play a part, make a new instrument, go back and play another part over top of that, etc etc until presto change-o, you've a song! Like magic!

You should try it. You DO have garageband right? You use a mac? Oh, a PC? Well, I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.
